The Sweet truffles are produced using a very special hazelnut, the IGP Piemonte Hazelnut (Protected Geographical Identity), also called the “sweet and round hazelnut of the Langhe”. It grows in a very small region on the steep hills around the little town of Cortemilia. Because of its sweetness, it is considered the best hazelnut variety in Italy. |
